It is happening to me as well, use razor to login and it should be ok.

Patch client to 5.7.0.1, use razor 1.0.4 (last version) and NOT use UOGateway.

I and so use the client of version 5.0.7.1 (a patch 53) and the version of the razor 1.0.4.20412, but not connect and it does not go right, writes too most.

Could sound stupid but: on the razor's welcome little window, in the server field you should type:"gameserver16.gamesnet.it" and port: 2593 .
