Guida al Chief Paroxysmus

volevo sapere se era sicuro ke la crimson vada lootata e non droppata, a me sembra una grossa fregatura, è troppo potente per lotarla il + veloce

E' da lootare, ma non è come dici te, normalmente poco dopo essere entrati dal peerlees si scioglie il party, cosi ognuno prende il suo loot, in questo modo se hai droppato te la crimson la vedi solo te.

Ti teleporta da lui, e per tutta la battaglia ti targetta come gli altri melee, quindi se il tuo pg è buono può tranquillamente resistere ^^

Here you are. ^^



First thing: money. You'll need 5k gold coins in your backpack to buy the "special magical rope" from the adventurer standing near the dungeon's entrance.




Double click on "Lucius the Adventurer" and accept the quest. Left-click once on your character, select "Toggle Quest Item", click on your money (5k), press Esc to get rid of the aiming pointer; again, double-click "Lucius the Adventurer", then click Ok.
The rope is yours, now.



To get there you can recall from the rune in the Luna's library, or walk there from Papua. You have to go to the "Beggar's Gorge".





When you're inside, follow the following (lol) map until you reach the Cauldron, where you'll throw the Skull, Torso and Legs -you can find them in the Corrosive Slime's loot- and the Spleen of Putrified -you'll find it in the Putrifier's loot, a sort of neon green Balron-.







Be careful, these parts will disappear after a certain amount of time.


Now, cross the acid river (be careful, if you try to cross without throwing the ingredients in, you shall be instant-killed), and climb upstairs. You'll be teleported on the small island where the Chief Paroxysmus lives.






Hints&Tips

• Do not use pets or summonings: the Chief will eat'em to heal himself, regaining EVERY hitpoint he lose.
• An Archer is not the best character to (try to) kill the Chief: if you attack him when you're more-than-two-tiles away from him, he will -pretty please with sugar on top (lol)- teleport you next to him.
• Two or three mages should be in your party, for a nice cross-healing action.
• The Chief has a lethal poison area attack (Yamadon-style).
• He doesn't cast spells or similar (does he really need it?).
• The best character template should be a melee warrior.
• Kill the Bulbous Putrifications (sort of neon green Plague Beasts) first, then go for the Chief.
