permalinks link to wrong posts if users have different values in Number of Posts to Show Per Page

for example:
i have in settings 30 posts per page.
i copied permalink

for me it's to post #225 and gave to a friend of mine
he has less "posts per page"
he opneded this link at 8-th page of thread, but for him post that i made permalink to is on 14-th page.

Permalinks are not a VBulletin feature. They are related to a module that is not used. So I have disabled them. To index a single post you can use the number in the right corner of the post.

i usshualy used permalink instead of a number because it pointed to a post but still the whole conversation was avialable without further clicking.
if u say that permalink is reated to a module that is not used, is it possible to make a new module and relate permalink to it, working almost like a number-link, but keeping whole conersation available.
it's just very comfortoble.

it works.
opens the page number of ehm link-creator and after redirects to actual post.
i v made the same link as before. for me it's 8th page. for a friend of mine it's 14. his browser opend index8 first and only after redirected to 14.
