Personal Loot System

Hi all, this new loot system is otherwise great BUT I've noticed that if I kill a monster alone with good luck I get way much better items than if someone who has low luck and is hitting it.

Change the personal loot system to this: the items that you can loot from a corpse would be affected by YOUR luck, its so fucking annoying in doom when you get DF to 1/10hp and then some noob pally with normal leather suit comes hit it and ruins your loot.

As I said; otherwise its great, but luck should be affecting only your personal loot.

well.... the "function"of the luck start when you open the corpse and don't care about who have killed the monster. This is what I know.

ok np... but for questions you all use this one? I think More peolple who knowsthe answers can help foreign in the other forum, but it's only an opinion

All questions are usually addressed by a new thread with question as the title. Sadly we can only post in English and theres a lot of users who are not Italian that post in English (Russians, Polish, Spanish, Finnish etc). Obviously this is the International forums and we only speak English here, so it makes sense we have our own little community where we help each other. If you go by numbers, then we are the minority, but the Italian users are more than welcome to post in English if they have a problem and this also goes the other way round if theres something that none of us can help with - we can always go to Italian side and piece together a post or 2.

Anyway - back to the thread topic.....Personal Loot System...

this is the problem! this is the reason that europe will never become a big country...

the community is ONE not a finnish, a spanish one.. etc.

I only meant minority in terms of spread of people playing Dreams. The way I see it, a player is a player.

Thats greatly appreciated - any help would be fantasic in building better links with both sides of the forums. Maybe we could do a multinational forum where people can post in both English and Italian and discuss everything instead of the current "Them and Us" situation which seems to be apparent.

i didnt find any exhaustive answer till now. ppl (including me) seem confused about luck, and someone even thinks that it doesnt really work here.

stratics says that "Luck is determined by the person that did the most damage to a monster." (here's the site http://uo.stratics.com/content/basics/luck.shtml )

try to ask directly a gm how does it work in uodreams.

anyways they follow the osi style so probably wont change anything.

if u ppl should have language problems, like e.g. eng/it translations, ure free to call me and i'll try to do something.

Take it from me - our luck system is exactly as detailed on Stratics.

I can say it really doesnt work here. The loots suck no matter what monsters are you killing. I killed 200 blood elementals and only good item was DI 31% SSI 25% Manaleech 30% hammer pick, then I've killed hundreds of hiryu's and the only good item was dci 13 hci 12 rpd 13 sc nopenalty shield. I have 1261 luck.

EDIT: There's a 50% chance, that with 1144 luck loot is bumped up, I dont think that actually works here..

no guy, the luck affect the magical properties of the items you find in the loots, making'em better if you have an high luck

What relevance has the size of Europe to the fact that there are less English speaking. You pretty much just proved Goodfella right.

Besides. Even if Europe was a bigger chunk of land theres more people speaking than the Italians.

If you ask me Europe is pretty damned big.
Even if your just talking about the people on here.. Italy owns the rest of us.
