Cant open file "fonts.mul"

Yesterday I patched the game to 5.0...something... and when it finished I tried to open the 2d version and it appears the message "Cant open file Fonts.mul" I tried every possible way to fix it without reinstalling it because the 3d version is working normally and the fonts.mul file is in the install directory so maybe some of you out there have had the same problem, so please help me, maybe if someone can upload the file from your computer just to replace the mine. failing that I have found that you can make copies of your ultima directory inside the ea games folder and have them at different patch/client levels and switch between them happily without problems, so if you cant get it working and wanted to reinstall thats the way i would recommend rather than uninstalling.
