to Foreigners on UOD

Hi everyone!

Some people told me foreigners are being discriminated by italian players.

Some others tell me that you'd like to have a forum specifically for non-italians, in order to create an english-speaking community.

I'd love to hear what you have to say, so that we can satisfy your needs better!

I've had no problems with discrimination... but I suppose some Italian players are ignorant... boh :S

ignorance == if u go a far way, I would say it would lead to discrimination in the end.

Esorto VIVAMENTE lo staff di UOD a prendere provvedimenti legali nei confronti di questi cerebrolesi: che ci liberino della loro stupida presenza.

Se pure giocando ad UO mi devo insozzare con "razze elette" e "tornatene al paese tuo", allora siamo veramente alla frutta.

Yes, imho, all non-italian community (if you really claim that you're an international shard now) would appreciate its own forum, where no italian language is allowed (you see, even here there're italian posts ). Even more, it would be good to allow topics to be opened in other languages - russian community is growing and it would definetely admire the possibility to discuss news/innovations/gamepaly in a native language. It concerns any other language (like sweedish or danish, etc.) if there're representatives.

But, please, don't appoint any italian moderators I'm thankfull to many nice people here, like Sole Nero, who really made feeling welcomed in the begining, but the moderators should be, imo, foreigners

I won't speak about any ignorance or discrimination - it's peculiar for any shard where foreigners play, there will always be people who won't be satisfied, i've got used not to pay attention already, and continue playing, because as i said, mostly people are nice and friendly. So I motivate everybody to do the same.

It's great to have a shard staff listening to all the opinions of ordinary players

If u think u'll feel better posting in a different forum, we can try to introduce foreigns poeple to uod community starting from this.
Choosing of moderators will be a bit hard for sure, 'cose our low knowing about this people.
But we can do a try about hoping in a fast incresing.
This message is good for UOD admins too (u can move following this way).
