ciao a tutti, sono un niubbetto di questo forum
essendo anche io un grande appassionato di prog, direi che alcune band che meritano sono:
- Simphony X
- Fates Warning
- Psychotic Waltz (quasi sconosciuti ma davvero bravi)
- Ark (non quelli commerciali eh
il loro 2° disco "Burn the Sun" è a dir poco spettacolare 
per altre info http://www.arksite.com )
- Shadow Gallery
- i grandiosi Pain of Salvation hanno sfornato 4 album, uno più bello dell'altro! l'anno scorso sono stati il gruppo di spalla dei Dream Theater nei concerti in Italia, sono davvero ottimi.
- Queensrÿche
- Opeth
