Today around 1 hour used provocation on Hiryu .
Success 100% ,though chance must be beside 55 .
Similar situation with other monsters .
That to do?

Hi there - just to clarify something.

The barding difficulty of a Hiryu is 70. Now if you are taking your information from stratics then they inform you that the barding difficulty is 115.3 - Obviously this means that if you use their calculator with your skills for the possibility of using a bard skill on a hiryu then it will come out with a figure of 0% - This isn't the case.

Chance of success: To calculate the chance of successfully provoking two creatures onto each other, calculate each creature's individual chance, add those together, then divide by two. - Taken from Stratics.

So lets take a look at your equation now:

70 + 70 / 2 = 70 (equation worked with 2 Hiryus)

Your skill level exceeds this and this is why you are able to provoke Hiryus.

the hiryu you used provocation on was tamed? Barding difficult halves in that case

Just so,I spoke exactly of this table
unless it is difficult add line with barding difficulty .
P.S.I use the provocation for hunt or Champ,not for taming.
