Here is one that could be answered by veteran players.

Do Pentagram decoration add-ons serve other purposes besides decorating?

They look OK but I'd like to really use them in some way, if possible.

For us it's only a nice floor decorative item... but in some dungeons (e.g. fire dungeon) it's used as signalling for hidden teleports.
